My Friend Anna by Rachel DeLoache Williams

Fancy some escapism? Live vicariously through real-life con artist Anna Delvey who lived the high life on stolen cash. 5 Star hotels, lavish holidays and Michelin star meals - exactly what we'll all be doing once we're allowed out!

My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh

This book will hit close to home. A young woman chooses to isolate alone in her apartment by concocting a sleeping potion with the help of a wacky therapist and only leaving her home for essentials. There couldn't be a more fitting book for right now.

White Teeth by Zadie Smith

Ladies Lit Squad champion female authors and Smith is one of the best British novelists of our time. The story follows two families in London throughout generations and how their lives intertwine in funny and very clever ways. This book is an absolute classic so if you haven't read it now's your chance.

The New Me by Halle Butler

The protagonist in the book is a temp who is so bored by her mind-numbing job that she starts unravelling. This is a hilarious book and perfect if you're getting office withdrawal symptoms.

Riders by Jilly Cooper

Your mum may have read this and if you haven’t, you're missing out. This classic bonk-buster is laugh-out-loud funny and the main character, Rupert Campbell Black, has the best one-liners.  If you’re not quarantined with your partner this book will provide all the romance and sauce you’re after.
