The Holloway Road range takes its name from the location of the first shop River Island’s founder, Bernard Lewis, opened in 1948.
Drawing from the Lewis family’s strong fashion heritage and tradition of well made, quality garments, Bernard’s son and River Island Menswear Buyer, Sam, developed a range of hardworking clothes for the modern man.
Lewis Separates, Bernard’s original brand which has evolved over sixty years to become River Island, sold pieces made from quality fabrics with unique details. This design ethos has continued through to Holloway Road where classic garments are given a contemporary twist.
This season’s Holloway Road collection features lots of hard-wearing outerwear separates and classic-cut tailoring with a modern twist. Authentic, rugged denim and jersey essentials also feature to give the collection a practical yet contemporary edge.
