STYLED BY LOOK: CHRISTMAS PARTY

19 December 2013

We love the idea of going maxi this year – mainly because it's a chance to get dressed up, but also as it's a real nod to next season's trend for floor-sweeping skirts.

Emerald green has been one of the strongest colours of the season – and this punchy hue really will make sure all eyes are on you.

The ruched front and faux-wrap skirt is ultra-flattering for all shapes and sizes as it delicately drapes to hide any bits you're slightly less keen on showing. Plus, it might have a thin asymmetric strap, but the higher cut means you can wear a bra and rock the slip dress trend – hooray!

Teamed with a skinny gold belt it will really draw attention to an hourglass shape.

You might want to show off your hot frock in all its glory but be sure to keep the chill at bay with a hot party cover up. This short furry leopard jacket in neutral tones is all you need to offset the rich tone of the slip dress. Coupled with a show-stopping colour, it will also make sure your look is as individual as it is cool.

Keeping all your accessories gold metallic will bring your whole look together – we LOVE these skinny strap sandals.

All you need to finish your ensemble is a serious piece of neck-candy – we love this black and gold number! - a pretty clutch and you’ll have all you need to dance the night away in serious style…
