Life after Love Island: A survival guide

Life after Love Island: A survival guide

Over the last two months, we’ve settled into a new routine of being fed, watered, showered and in our PJs all before 9pm. Who’d have thought? Love Island 2019 may be over *sob* but with it comes free evenings, more storage space and office small talk can swiftly revert back to the weather.  And just in case you’re wondering how to fill the void, we’ve got the Survival Guide that’s definitely your type on paper…

Don't go cold turkey...

With a Villa shaped hole in our hearts, it would be easy to cut out any mention of the show and speed up the healing process. It’s okay to still talk about Ovie in the group chat. Plus there’s an archive of old Love Island episodes on the ITV hub at your disposal. Use them wisely.

Turn on post notifications…

We’ve pretty much been dating the whole Villa for the past eight weeks, right? So keep tabs on your fave Islanders and get your daily fix of what they’re getting up now they’re back on home ground. Until the promos start, that is…

Feel the love…

You don’t need an Island to find love. Whether you’ve neglected your S.O. for the last month or two (sorry not sorry) or your quest to find one has been on hold, now’s the time to get back on it. Date night in a helicopter sounds pretty good to us.

Get back out there…

After work drinks. Cinema dates. Gym classes. Remember those? Time to press play on your social life again. And just in case you’re coming up short when it comes to things to do, we’ve got this.

Start to move on…

When you’re loyal like us, it can be hard to even think about watching something other than Love Island/ Aftersun/ Unseen Bits. But as our Mums always told us, time heals all wounds. And The Great British Bake Off will be on before you know it.

Plan a holiday…

As if we need an excuse to start planning a trip, watching 66 hours of drama unfold in a sun-drenched Villa will have anyone craving a last-minute sunny getaway. We hear Majorca’s the place to be…

Booked that holiday?
