London Calling...What We Wore To Fashion Week | The WW Edit

Fashion will always be our first love and London our home so at River Island, LFW is kind of a big deal. This season, we dialled up our efforts, taking our favourite trends for a catwalk, London style. Hitting the streets, the shows and a number of coffee shops (thanks for the wifi), Fashion Week called, and our answer was, Hell Yeah! Here’s what we wore and what we loved about it…

Every girl knows her best accessory is her work wife. We enlisted Fashion Team BFFs Jen and Ellie to double up on denim.

Jen, Junior Fashion Editor

Style code… high/low. Super casual but I also love a heel.

Fashion is... a daily source of inspiration; it’s what I get up for.

On the FROW I’d sit next to... Emmanuelle Alt

“I live in boyfriend jeans, I love the authentic wash of this pair and dressing up a hoodie with heels.”

Ellie, Photoshoot Producer

Style code… classic staple pieces.

Fashion is... inspiring. How you present yourself to the word.

Best part of fashion week… I love it all, I get so excited, devouring all the coverage.

On the FROW I’d sit next to... Franca Sozzani

“I’m a big fan of a skinny flare and I like the subtle 70s vibe.”

Want to master the fashion week walk? It’s all about the snake (print) hips, just ask our chic social media expert, April.

April, Social Media Executive

Dress code…  chic, polished & neutral.

Fashion is... being able to express yourself.

Best part of fashion week…  seeing all the diverse experimental looks.

On the FROW I’d sit next to... Victoria Beckham

“I love the detail of this snake print skirt and the fit of the oversized knit.”

The hotter the pink, the hotter the look… Hannah took her inner flamingo to LFW and we’re here for it.

Best part of fashion week…  I love to people watch, not exclusive to fashion week either.

It’s a twin win for Jo and her mini-me Ellie, they’re letting the trend do the hard work for them.

Jo, Kid Fashion editor

Best part of fashion week… pictures with mummy and croissants after.

Fashion is… dressing up and sparkly socks.
