If your Christmas features a country hotel or a cottage getaway, it’s time to manifest The Holiday and pack accordingly. We’re talking soft, romantic knits, relaxed denim and a clean, neutral palette by day and jewel-toned satin shirts or jumpsuits for fireside evenings in the local pub. A great pair of knee-high boots are essential – team them with relaxed denim for daytime ambles, and velvet separates for dinners out, just in case you bump into Jude Law.

You might be ski-obsessed, you might just be there for the fondue (nobody’s judging).
