THE LATEST ISLAND UPDATES

Following the latest government advice, all River Island stores are now temporarily closed. While we’re sad we can’t see you in person, the safety of our people (that includes you!) will always come first.

As soon as we have more information on reopening we’ll let you know. Until then, we will be working extra hard to make sure you can get your Island fix online. Our amazing Distribution Centre teams are still working hard to get your orders to you quickly, and have every possible safety measure in place. Returning an online order

UK orders
 UK orders can be returned as standard using our free post returns service within 28 days of delivery or collection. Simply peel back your address label located on the front of your parcel to find your Returns Note. Further information on how to return can be found here.

Republic of Ireland orders
Republic of Ireland orders can be returned to one of our Republic of Ireland stores within 14 days of your local store reopening. If you don’t want to wait until your local store reopens, please return via your local postal service. There will likely be an international customs declaration form to complete at your local post office and a cost to return your items. Don’t forget to complete your returns form, found on the back of your address label, and enclose it with your items. As the Brexit transition happens, our couriers tell us there’s a chance of some minor disruptions to deliveries and returns. Customers in ROI wishing to return to a store can only return their order to an ROI store and customers in N.Ireland wishing to return their order to a store can only return their order to a store in N.Ireland.

Returning a store purchase or store order

In store purchases
Where stores are closed, we’re giving you an extra 14 days to return your item(s) from the date your local store reopens. Make sure you hang onto your receipt as you’ll need it to make the return. Please only return items to stores with the same currency where the purchase was originally made.

In store orders for home delivery to the UK
 Where stores are closed, we’re giving you an extra 14 days to return from the date your local store reopens. If you don’t want to wait until your local store reopens, you can return using our free post service within 28 days of delivery or collection. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund to your original payment method if you return by post so you will receive a refund to a Digital Gift Card. In store orders for home delivery to the Republic of Ireland
 Republic of Ireland store orders can be returned to one of our Republic or Ireland stores within 14 days of your local store reopening. Christmas returns policy

Christmas gifts purchased online or in store from November 1st can be returned after the 28 day returns window for an exchange or return to a refund card. Don’t worry, if your local store has had to close, you will have an additional 14 days from the date your store reopens. Please keep your proof of purchase safe, you’ll need it when making your return. We are no longer accepting Christmas gift returns by post.

Click & Collect

Our River Island Click & Collect service is currently unavailable however you can choose to collect from essential local convenience stores.
