Top 5 going out outfits

Total freedom may have been put on pause (sob) but going out hasn’t. Don’t save your looks for the club, wear them now! If the past year has taught us anything it’s that the future is unpredictable and we should dress up each and every time we leave the house. So whether your version of going out includes dancing till 3am and regrettable whatsapp messages or a dinner date with your bestie, our top five night out ‘fits will solve all ‘’what are you wearing” dilemmas.

Cocktail hour

After living in loungewear for a year the biggest statement you can wear right now is tailoring. Head out for drinks with your squad in a structured oversized khaki blazer, a crisp white two piece and barely there heels for the night out outfit of dreams. It’s neutral, uncomplicated and looks amazing with a fresh layer of going out tan. Keep your drink of choice clear to avoid any accidental stains (unless you’re a red wine pro) and enjoy your night!

Brunch plans

Bottomless brunch is no joke and the one outfit that works every single time is our fave: jeans and a nice top. Look cute but keep it comfy when you’re sipping your fifth mimosa in a sunny yellow halter neck top and jeans that hug your curves. Style with matching black accessories that add to the 90’s aesthetic and a plate of chocolate chip pancakes that are almost as sweet as you look.

Dinner date

On the hunt for a fire going out dress? Stop searching, we’ve found the one. Slinky, bright and body hugging, step out in this tie dye for aqua number for the best night ever. Nothing feels more powerful than styling a 90s silky slip dress with an oversized blazer draped over your shoulders. Nothing is sexier than confidence and in this look we promise you’ll have it in bucketloads.

Rooftop rave

We can’t wait until restrictions lift on events but the seated rule-of-six rave is fine for now. Dance at your table in an explosion of colour wearing our must have two piece and towering stiletto heels. Being seated isn’t an excuse to dress lowkey, in fact it’s the perfect moment to go all out and turn heads from across the event space. Who knows? You might be sent a round of free drinks.

Picnic party

Going out doesn’t have to be a PM exclusive. If late night plans aren’t really your thing right now stick to day time events that are just as fun - and get you home at a reasonable hour! Picnic parties are our current favourite social activity and wearing a feel good dress is required. Cross your fingers for another heat wave and get ready to party in pink. Going out clothes should make you feel amazing and this pink frilly smock dress certainly has the joy factor.
