Oh and one last thing - keep reading till the end to find out how you could win a £250 bar tab on us, DesignMyNight & Dirty Martini cocktail bars.

14 Hills - London

If there was ever a cause for getting a little wild on a Monday, it would be 14 Hills’ rooftop Freedom Day celebration. The stunning sky-high jungle sits 14 floors above the city, making for some of the greatest views London has to offer. Alongside DJ-led brunches and live music nights, other reasons to visit include their brand new outdoor terrace that plates up panoramic views, and a specially curated cocktail which they’ll be serving throughout the day on 19th July.

Sabine - London

Exploring one of London’s newest rooftops and cheers-ing to your freedom at the same time? It’s always a win-win when paying a visit to Sabine. Having only been open for a few months, this spot has already made quite the impression thanks to its close-up views of St. Paul’s. View aside, this sky-high spot has a slick botanical terrace, alongside a bold cocktail menu featuring quirky blends from a raspberry and banana leaf G&T to a rum mix with passion fruit purée.

Prince of Wales - London

Already established as a go-to destination for mega summer rooftop parties, Brixton’s Prince of Wales are over the moon to finally throw out that social distancing rulebook to go big with a fierce post-Freedom Day line-up. Think carnival-themed bashes, DJ nights and an all out disco festival with a 3am curfew.

Fulham Beach - London

Ditch overpriced flights for a train ticket to Fulham as London’s biggest pop-up beach brings you a series of unforgettable sandy soirées. Housing day beds, beach huts plus multiple bars and restaurants, we can’t think of a better place to spend a restriction-free summer in London, especially when there’s bottomless brunches, Ibiza white parties and drag bingo nights on the events

Ballie Ballerson - London

Ballie Ballerson are throwing not one but seven parties in honour of Freedom day. London’s one and only ball pit bar has taken it upon themselves to host a week of parties, all themed around key events that we couldn’t celebrate last year. Expect a birthday bonanza with giant balloons and free fizz, a New Year’s Eve bash with confetti cannons and a Freedom Day party featuring live music and a DJ blasting out the tunes until 2am. Just try not to call in sick the next day.

Sky Garden - London

On the swanky end of the spectrum, Sky Garden is playing host to boozy music nights throughout summer on their famous rooftop. Reacquaint yourself with luxury nights out as you explore London’s highest landscape gardens and enjoy sharing boards and Champagne while soaking up the vast views, all soundtracked to a mega playlist courtesy of the resident DJ.

Espresso Martini Pop-Up - London

Lover of espresso martinis? The Espresso Martini Society is returning to the capital with a one-of-a-kind pop-up at The New Yorker Gallery, so if coffee is your weak spot - this event was made for you. Take a seat in a stylish NYC-style loft and sip away for 90 minutes on a menu of coffee-based cocktails, from a salted caramel number to a chocolatey blend that tastes just like a Ferrero Rocher.

Skylight - London

Always a hit with London’s fun-loving party goers, Skylight is ready to amp up your summer with some incredible offerings atop its rooftop playground. From a cocktail bar to street food, panoramic views, comedy nights and outdoor lawn games, there’s no better place to make the most of your new-found freedom from 19th July.

Perception Bar - London

If you prefer to celebrate special occasions with an epic bottomless brunch, Perception Bar is here to deliver - big time. This hotel bar is home to a DJ-led bottomless frosé brunch, where you can drink endless rosé slushies topped up with Champagne - swish swish - and indulge in a delicious brunch dish; think BBQ pulled pork burgers to huevos rancheros, and for dessert? An Instagrammable pink chocolate fountain. Freedom doesn’t look or taste much better than this.

Luna Springs - Birmingham

You may have heard of Birmingham’s new outdoor drinking destination Luna Springs, but we’ve got a sneaking suspicion that this place will be even more of a hotspot after restrictions are lifted. Aside from alfresco cocktails and live DJs, Luna Springs are also bringing in the crowds with bottomless brunches, bottomless cinema nights and open-air disco with live dancers and singers. A night out to remember? Coming right up.

Tonight Josephine - Birmingham

After making a name for itself as London’s number one pink party bar, Tonight Josephine have brought the fun to Birmingham in the form of fluorescent pink interiors and inventive cocktails. They’re also responsible for some of the city’s most unmissable events, from a Britney-themed bottomless brunch to a naughty afternoon tea with endless pornstar martinis. With rules around numbers out the window, it’s the perfect place to let your hair down and celebrate those lost lockdown birthdays.

Flight Club - Leeds

Flight Club have opened a fresh new site in Leeds and it’s the perfect place to party if you wanna feel like it’s 2019 all over again. Their signature fairground-themed interiors are one for the ‘gram, as well as their much-loved paddle pizzas and cocktail slushies. And if you’re looking to go all out? Grab a ticket to one of their competitive brunch socials featuring bottomless pizza, a bottle of prosecco for each player and one hour on the interactive dartboards.

Alcotraz - Manchester

London’s immersive prison-themed bar has made its way to Manchester just in time for the lifting of restrictions, and it will (ironically) see you locked up... again. You’ll be sneaking booze past the warden before leaving it in the trusty hands of the resident convicts who will whip you up bespoke cocktails behind bars. Want our advice? Try not to wear a colour that crashes with orange. You’ll be donning a prison jumpsuit during your time in the slammer.

Sunset by Australasia - Manchester

Manchester’s pretty pink restaurant Sunset by Australasia is always a winning pick for Instagrammable catch ups, especially when you’re free to dine with all of your mates, not just five.  Between the pastel pink interiors and fairy-lit outdoor seating area, this is definitely a place you need to free up some space in your camera roll for. And if you’re already there for drinks, why not stay for their bento box afternoon tea featuring frozen pornstar martinis for an extra special post-lockdown celebration.

Neighbourhood - Liverpool

Meet Neighbourhood; Liverpool’s most glam neon-lit bar that’s pretty much impossible to  beat in the looks department. Boasting brightly-coloured furnishings and some of the city’s quirkiest drinks (think vodka blends with candy floss syrup and a flurry of weird and wonderful spritz cocktails), this place is the ideal excuse to hit the town early in that sparkly get-up you’ve been waiting to break out since lockdown day one.
