From bikinis and cover-ups to dresses and sunnies, we’ve got everything you need to take your getaway from meh to hell yeah. We jetted off to Lisbon, Portugal with a few of our closest friends in tow to talk us through their must-have packing pieces. We meet Irene AKA @studio4lara to talk us through her holiday carry on…

Introduce yourself.

Irene Lara

Who would you take on a family holiday?

Brooks, of course, and my parents.

Where would you go?

Somewhere exotic and different like Thailand or the Philippines.

What’s the first thing you do when you turn your OOO on?

I very rarely turn my out of office on as my job is round the clock, but on the odd occasions that I do, I like to relax with a face mask on, good music and a G&T!

How do you manage pre-holiday anxiety?

I don’t really get that, but normally cooking helps me to relax.

What do you have on your checklist?

Not to over-pack and to make sure that I at least have one full day of downtime to relax.

What’s your airport style?

Tracksuit or leggings, feeling comfy is the main thing on flights.

Top tips for a stylish/stress-free flight?

A good book, good playlist and a glass of wine!

What's your go-to summer night party look?

A mini dress and wedged sandals.

What does your beach/pool kit look like?

A big towel, a good book and loads of sunscreen.

Why do you go on holiday?

To switch off from work and to experience new places.

What’s the best thing about coming home?

If Brooks isn’t with me, of course getting to see him and I’m always happy to sleep in my own bed.
