Want to get your Christmas shopping done early?
We've extended our returns policy so you can shop stress-free over the festive period. As well as our standard returns policy, all online and in-store purchases from the 22nd October can be returned for a refund to a gift card until the 14th January.
For in-store purchases don't forget to bring your receipt or gift receipt with you to receive exchange or refund card at the original purchase price.
Returns Policy
Items can be returned within 28 days of delivery or store purchase
Items should be clean, unworn and with tags still attached
You'll need your original receipt or despatch confirmation email

How Can I Return an Item?
Return to store
- Return or exchange your items to any of our UK stores (excluding Jersey and Isle of Man).
- Returns to our stores will continue to be free of charge.
- We can only return or exchange items to our stores with the same currency where the purchase was originally made.
- Don’t forget to bring your despatch confirmation email as proof of purchase.
Drop off your return
- UK returns will be charged at £2 per return when returning to our warehouse using one of our returns drop off services.
- The return charge will be deducted automatically from your refunded amount once we have processed your return at our warehouse.
- Returns via the returns portal are tracked.
- Remember to drop off your return within 14 days.
Get it collected
- UK returns will be charged at £2 per return when returning to our warehouse using our River Island Collection service.
- The return charge will be deducted automatically from your refunded amount once we have processed your return at our warehouse.
- You will need to be available on your specified collection day.
